Ar. Harshal Ganorkar has been serving as Assistant Professor at IDEAS, Nagpur since 2012. A postgraduate in Planning from CEPT University, Ahmedabad, he brings over eight years of teaching experience, with a focus on climate-responsive architecture and alternative building technologies. He actively guides students in bridging the gap between technical understanding and practical application in design.
Ar. Ganorkar is a core contributor to institutional research and has co-authored IDEAS Publication Cell’s ISBN volume Tracing the Climate Response. He conducted the CoA's National Teacher Training Workshop in 2020 and has prior professional experience with firms in Delhi, including NUPC and Datta & Datta Associates. Currently, he is associated with Ecotecture India.
Known for his balanced approach to teaching, combining discipline with creativity, he is deeply involved in academic initiatives and admired for his leadership, problem-solving abilities, and strong rapport with students. His interests also extend to music and visual arts, enriching his holistic teaching philosophy.
