STUDY TOURS

At IDEAS, learning is not confined to studios and classrooms. Our study tours are immersive academic journeys that allow students to explore architectural and cultural landscapes beyond their immediate environment. These curated experiences blend design inquiry with real-world exposure, encouraging students to absorb, question, and reimagine what they see.

Study tours are designed around our core verticals: Design, Technology, and Services—enabling holistic learning through field-based discovery. Whether it’s a temple town, a heritage precinct, or a modern urban development, every place becomes a site for observation, interaction, and critical thinking.

    INTERNATIONAL STUDY TOURS

Our international tours provide students with global exposure to design cultures, iconic architecture, and international best practices. These experiences are planned to develop critical worldviews, broaden design sensibilities, and initiate global dialogues.

    Destinations May Include:

    • Southeast Asian temple architecture

    • European modernist movements

    • Urban regeneration projects in global cities

    • Design biennales and exhibitions

ARCHIVES FROM THE WORKSHOPS

Every study tour is accompanied by workshops and documentation sessions that convert travel experiences into tangible learning. In these sessions, students analyze, interpret, and re-present their observations using various media—from sketches and maps to models and presentations. These archives serve as a growing knowledge repository for the institute and inspire future batches.
