BACHELOR OF ARCHITECTURE

B.ARCH.

The Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) at IDEAS is a 5-year full-time professional program affiliated to RTMNU and approved by COA, DTE, and the Government of Maharashtra. With over 16 years of academic excellence, IDEAS blends rigorous design education with hands-on learning, industry exposure, and a strong focus on sustainability, social responsibility, and innovation.

The curriculum spans ten semesters covering architectural design, construction, structures, urban studies, sustainability, and a culminating thesis, along with practical training. Students benefit from national and international collaborations, including CEPT University, SCI-Arc (USA), and Folds Design Mumbai, supported by a dynamic faculty of professionals and researchers.

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

    Applicants must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and obtained at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category). A valid NATA score is mandatory for admission, as per COA guidelines.

    SCHOLARSHIPS

    IDEAS supports deserving students through a range of merit-based and need-based scholarships. Government scholarships are available for eligible candidates, along with institutional awards based on academic excellence, innovation, and participation in design initiatives.

    INSTRUCTIONS

    Candidates must apply through the centralized admission process conducted by DTE Maharashtra. All applicants are advised to follow deadlines carefully, submit required documents accurately, and regularly check updates on official portals and the college website.

    FEE STRUCTURE

    The B.Arch. program follows a structured annual fee as approved by the Fee Regulating Authority (FRA). Fee includes tuition, lab access, and other academic resources. Detailed fee breakup is available on request or via the admissions office.

    CURRICULUM

    The B.Arch. curriculum is divided into ten semesters and covers subjects such as architectural design, theory, structures, history, construction, building services, and sustainability.
