INSTITUTIONAL COMMITTEES
At IDEAS – Institute of Design Education and Architectural Studies, we have constituted various statutory and non-statutory committees to uphold student welfare, academic quality, inclusivity, and innovation. The following committees are actively functioning for the academic years 2025–2026 to 2026–2027:
AICTE Extension of Approval – B.Des 2025–26
Approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for continuation of the B.Des course for the academic year 2025–26.
University Affiliation – B.Arch & M.Arch (2025–26)
Affiliation granted by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University for B.Arch (5-year program) and M.Arch (Environmental Architecture – 2-year program) for the academic session 2025–26.
University Affiliation – B.Des (2025–26)
Affiliation granted by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University for B.des (Interior, Product, Graphic and UiUx Design) for the academic session 2025–26.
CoA Approval – B.Arch (2025–26)
Approved by the Council of Architecture (CoA), New Delhi, for the conduct of the 5-year Bachelor of Architecture program.
CoA Approval – M.Arch (Environmental Architecture) (2025–26)
CoA-sanctioned approval for the postgraduate degree in Environmental Architecture for the session 2025–26.
Anti-Ragging Committee (2025–2027)
Ensures a ragging-free environment through awareness, vigilance, and a dedicated squad, in compliance with UGC norms.
Student Grievance Redressal Cell (2025–2027)
Handles academic and non-academic complaints of students with confidentiality, fairness, and timely redressal.
SC/ST Committee (2025–2027)
Empowers and supports students from Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities with guidance, financial aid, and career counseling.
Handbook on Code of Conduct (HCC)
Outlines ethical and behavioral norms for students, faculty, administrators, and support staff across academic and professional engagements.
