Ar. Milind Gujarkar serves as the Head of the Department at IDEAS, Nagpur. A specialist in Industrial Design, he has over 25 years of academic and professional experience and was instrumental in launching the first postgraduate program in Industrial Design at RTMNU. His approach blends technical expertise with creative exploration, making him a key figure in shaping architectural education at the institute.

His architectural practice is grounded in a holistic and context-sensitive philosophy, with a portfolio that spans institutional buildings, healthcare facilities, resorts, and vernacular mud houses across Central India. He has also worked as a product designer in Delhi, further broadening his design outlook.

Known for pioneering initiatives like Rural Design Studies and I-Show, he introduces students to the richness of vernacular architecture and encourages public engagement with design education.
